Rise and Shine - This Monday our students will be leading the Rise and Shine for the entire school. 

Math - In my math class we will be continuing to explore exponents and how they are related to place value.

Literature - We will continue reading Poppy finishing chapters 2-5 this week (homework can be expected every night).

Spelling/Vocabulary - This week marks the start of Unit 4 for Spelling/Vocabulary.  Unit 4 words are:

The test on these words will take place on September 27, 2013.

Science - In science class we will continue to study the importance of models in conducting experiments.  Students can expect homework 1-2 times during the week.

Social Studies - In learning about the early development of the U.S. and especially OK, we will expand our knowledge of regions and climates and talk about regional differences that  may contribute to settlement in a specific area.
